Heylala's Blah, Blah, Blah

How happy is the blameless vestal's lot! The world forgetting, by the world forgot. Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind! Each pray'r accepted, and each wish resign'd. No, fly me, fly me, far as pole from pole; Rise Alps between us! and whole oceans roll! Ah, come not, write not, think not once of me, Nor share one pang of all I felt for thee. Blonde Bombshell

Do blondes have more fun? Do gentleman prefer blondes? Currently, I am in process of finding out, again. Yesterday I was a brunette with dark roots and fading blonde highlights. Today I am Madonna circa 1986 in her “Live To Tell” video when she first changed her hair color and hooked up with Sean Penn. My boss said I could take the place of Britney Spears who apparently is now opting for much darker hair. Maybe being compared to Brit would have been a compliment pre K Fed and interview with Matt Lauer. So, far no hair extentions and false eyelashes for me, but you never know. The reaction I have received at work has been hysterical. People come by and look at me and I know some are thinking, there is something different about that chick, I just don’t know what it is. Others have had to go by, stop and come back to my office. Already, the change is gaining me more attention than the hair I was sporting yesterday. It’s just hair people. Keep moving, nothing to see here. The thing is that it is also a commentary on people and how they handle change. Some embrace it. Others have to come around to the idea. Some just go out and make change happen. I’ve lived all three ways. I think I kind of prefer this new go out and make change happen. Really, it’s about reinventing yourself. I have always admired Madonna for changing her look and image so much. It keeps things fresh and lucky for her and her album sells it keeps people’s attention and keeps buying. To be honest I haven’t been this blonde since high school and that has been a few years back. Why did I decide to go back? I’m not quite sure. Maybe I just needed to shake things up, maybe I’m tired of my sister and her blonde hair getting all the attention or maybe I just wanted to see if it would get me any attention. Whatever the reason I’m about to find out again if blondes really do have more fun.
